About our Swim Team
The BMS Swim Team is a young team. We made our debut with KISL during the 2015-2016 season. We are an open team with no "tryouts." We focus on technique and training strong swimmers. Ultimately, we want them to have a fun, healthy team experience.
Team Requirements: Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool safely and independently. New swimmers will be evaluated during the first practice on October 2 at 6:30.
Swimmers will attend (2) practices a week. If you are a student who participates in a fall sport that doesn’t allow you to start until after that sport ends, we are happy to work with you, but please let us know. If you swim with a year-round swim program, you will only need to attend (4) practices in addition to the meets.
Swimmers should wear a solid black or solid blue race suit with their BMS Swim Cap to all meets.
All gear is the responsibility of the swimmer except for their BMS team t-shirt & BMS team cap, which will be provided as part of your registration fee.
Fees & Registration: As listed on the registration form, fees for the 2022-2023 season will be $200 per swimmer. Discounts are available for year-round swimmers and families with multiple swimmers on the team. (Please Contact Us for more information.)
